Work Permits
To be eligible for a work permit, students will…

Have no more than three unexcused absences and/or tardies. I understand I must attend school every day on time.

Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA or better and will not have any “F’s”.

Be knowledgeable of and obey all rules and regulations of the school district.

Have no more than one referral.
-
Exhibit good behavior at school and in all school activities.
Please understand that a violation of any of the above will result in my work permit being revoked.
IMPORTANT: The work permit application process below before submitting it.

Applications are available at the front reception desk as well as in the Library.

You MUST turn the completed application in to;
-Mrs. Brinkman or Mrs. Thomas (August -May)
-Vanessa Salas at the District Office (June-July)
- Be sure that you have completed the entire Work Permit Application.

This include obtaining the necessary signatures from your parent or guardian and your future employer.

Your Work Permit will not be processed if any portion of this application is incomplete.

You need to have a copy of your work permit on file at PHS and a copy at your place of employment. This is the law enforced by the State of California.
