PJUSD Technology Update: Student Account Changes Effective July 8

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, the Patterson Technology Department is implementing an update to our student accounts to improve system security and alignment.

Effective July 8, 2026, all student email addresses and login usernames will transition to a new format.

What is Changing?

 

Student email addresses will now follow this format:

[First Name] + [Three Digit Number] @patterson.k12.ca.us

Example: John Doe’s new username would look like: john123@patterson.k12.ca.us.

Key Points to Remember:

 

• July 8th Launch: Do not attempt to log in with the new email address until July 8. Until then, please continue using your current login credentials.

• Passwords Remain the Same: Only your username/email address is changing. Your current password will still work with the new email address.

Before the start of the new school year, all students and parents must complete and sign the Authorized User Policy (AUP) and the Device Use Policy before picking up a device.

Please follow these two simple steps to complete this requirement:

1. Find Your Student ID: If you do not know your student ID, you can search for it online here:  Incident IQ Student 2026-2027 Authorize Use Policy

2. Sign the Policies: Once you have your student ID, please review and electronically sign both policies by visiting: Incident IQ Student 2026-2027 Device Agreement
